Film and Video Programming

Meredith Dault is the founder of the One Minute Film and Video Festival (2003-2008), an annual screening of international one-minute-long films and videos on a prescribed theme, for which she also served as director and programmer.

Though held annually in Toronto, festival screenings have also been held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Edmonton, Alberta, and as part of the One Minute Film and Video Festival in Aarau, Switzerland.  Specially curated programs have also been screened at the Emirates Film Competition in Abu Dhabi and at the Videominuto Festival in Florence, Italy.

Meredith Dault sits on the curatorial committee at the Atlantic Filmmaker's Cooperative (AFCOOP) and the Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival, and on the programming committee at the Centre for Art Tapes (both in Halifax, NS). She has also been part of numerous programming juries through both organizations.
